Bea Marie Malhacan

Bea Marie Malhacan is a bright young student sponsored by JCI. She lives in a small home with her parents and three siblings. As I entered the front Door I noticed there were stones on the ground and no concrete. Mum was cooking on An open fire and they have no electricity! Despite the lack of comforts in their home, Bea loves to read. She has a bright mind and often tops the class in tests and quiz bee. She is very expressive as she recites stories to her audience moved with emotion!

Bea told me she would like to be a doctor someday… At the age of 11, Bea is tutoring other children after school and some pocket money. There is no doubt the benefits of being sponsored to Mt. Moriah will help her to acquire the level of education she will need to go to university. I am sure that one day Doctor Bea Marie Malhacan will go with JCI on medical missions to help meet the needs of others!
