Getting involved

JCI aims to facilitate the development of good health and sound life skills in underprivileged children through the delivery of services and the engagement of the families and the community. Five key initiative areas complement each other to achieve these goals by focusing on the children’s immediate and long term priorities.

Our School Scholarship initiative seeks to develop quality academic skills in the children whilst we work through local churches and directly with children to see a development of a Christ-centred vision in their own lives. Our Medical and Feeding Initiatives seek to build healthy bodies and provide practical nutritional and hygiene education promoting health and quality of life in the children and their families. Our Special Needs projects provide co-ordination and resources to meet urgent and once off needs as they arise, they are particularly practical at enabling the local community to support each other in crisis and need. Finally we need to continue to raise funds, sponsorships and ongoing support to and expand this important work.
